Here Comes the Sun
The cult of the sun has been in many cultures of the world. Virtually all cultures and religions throughout history have recognized the power of the sun. People instinctively felt that without the Sun there would be no life, therefore, myths and stories have been told about the Sun God for many centuries. In Homer's Odyssey, Helios also interferes in the life of Odysseus and his team. Helios (Helium) (ancient Greek Ἥλιος, Ἠέλιος) is a solar deity in ancient Greek mythology, the son of Zeus.The Latin expression Sol Invictus English translates as "Unconquered Sun". Salt appears many times in images of Mithras. In my project, I tried to play with secret meanings and create a “cult of the Sun”. Digital art. The work was done in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
Sol Invictus- Непобедимое Солнце
Культ солнца был во многих культурах мира. Практически все культуры и религии на протяжении всей истории признавали силу солнца. Люди инстинктивно чувствовали, что без Солнца не было бы жизни, поэтому о Боге Солнца на протяжении многих веков слагали мифы и сказания. В «Одиссее» Гомера Гелиос также вмешивается в жизнь Одиссея и его команды. Гелиос (Гелий) (др.-греч. Ἥλιος, Ἠέλιος) — солнечное божество в древнегреческой мифологии, сын Зевса. Древний культ солнца существовал также в римской мифологии и религии. Латинское выражение Sol Invictus с английского переводится как «Непокоренное солнце».Sol много раз появляется на изображениях Митры. В своем проекте я попытался поиграть с тайными смыслами и создать «культ Солнца». Работа выполнена в Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
